New York Coffee Club!

Singer, Songwriter, Presenter, Reality TV Star, Clothing Designer, Best Selling Fragrance Owner, Charity Ambassador, Face Of Fake Bake Tan, Magazine Columnist, Author, And now a Coffee Shop Owner.. Is there anything this man can't do!? It is no secret that Peter Andre is a huge coffee addict, so it was no surprise to us when he announced that he was opening a coffee shop along with his older brothers. The name 'New York Coffee Club' was thought up by Peters brother Michael, when they wanted to bring the New York Coffee experience over to England, with pictures of New York on the walls, old New York Jazz playing in the background and New York style deli sandwiches made on the premises daily. Both Peters love for children and understanding for parents is expressed in NYCC, with a small soft play area in the shop for children to play whilst parents 'chillax'(it's the name of a drink in NYCC - don't judge us). There is a friendly vibe in the coffee shop, with smiles from the lovely staff as you walk into the store, and you even get to have your name written on the disposable cups for that extra personalized touch - adorable!

The idea to open a coffee shop came when the brothers realized "The coffee couture has been around in Australia for 30 years, however it is only just starting here now. In Australia it is hard to get a bad coffee, yet over here it is hard to get a good one." so they decided to take matters into their own hands and the first NYCC opened back in November 2011 in East Grinstead, a small town near Peters home, and after battling a few teething problems, the coffee shop has now received a fantastic 5star hygiene rating and has put East Grinstead on the map, with people travelling from all over the country for a cup of Peter Andre's coffee. The coffee shop has attracted celebrities such as Kerry Katona, Danielle Brown, Amy Childs, Nicola Mclean, Gino D'Acampo, Aldo Zilli and Nikki Zilli.

Following the success of the first coffee shop, they decided to open the second NYCC in nearby seaside town Brighton on Wednesday (01/08/2012), with premises twice the size of the East Grinstead shop, they certainly needed the space after hundreds of fans turned up for a coffee and glimpse of Peter at what was supposed to be a 'soft' opening.. Look at all the customers filling the streets of Brighton!

We attended the Brighton NYCC public launch on Wednesday and were super impressed. There are plenty of seats and tables in the spacious shop and the menu is displayed on an impressive three TV screens behind the counter, which you do not get in many other coffee shops. This is fabulous as it stands out for being modern and makes it a lot easier to see and read. The brothers have used their passion for coffee to source out only the finest coffee blends for customers to add to their diverse and reasonably priced menu which includes Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White, Americano, Espresso, Mocha, Hot Chocolate, Tea, Milkshakes, Smoothies, Cupcakes, Croissants, Sandwiches, then Lunchboxes and BamBinoChino's for the kids - there's certainly something for everyone!

Check out us with the Coffee shop co-owner Peter Andre on Wednesday!

At NYCC, customers are valued. With the customer loyalty card, you can earn a free coffee and there is the option for regular customers to buy a keep cup for £9.95 and then receive a 15p discount when they buy a coffee. In addition to this, they have their very own merchandise including T-shirts, Mugs, Hats and more to purchase instore. Make sure to keep up to date with NYCC on Twitter, Facebook and their website!

Huge credit goes to Daniel Andre who dedicates so much time and passion into running the business. Daniel is hands on, regularly visiting the coffee shops and doing a lot of work behind the scenes. Thankyou Danny, NYCC wouldn't be what it is without you!

We're expecting big things for NYCC and who knows.. maybe there will be one on your local high street in the near future?

Thank you for taking the time to read our post! If you ever get the chance to visit NYCC - DO IT! It's an experience in itself and you'll never want to visit another coffee shop again!
Lots of love, Katie and Adele XXXXXX
